Harborough Town's Ben Stephens is currently fifth on the top scorers list for the Southern Premier Division Central. The striker has featured 30 times in the league and has been a huge part of a season that currently puts them 5th.

Despite missing eight league games, the former Kings Lynn striker has scored 18 goals. In his first season at the club, Stephens has a 1.66 games per goal ratio, only Matt Stenson, Leon Lobjoit and Kieren Donnelly can better that.
Managed by Mitch Austin, the striker has been a huge factor in the sides push for a potential second successive promotion. With step 2 experience, if promotion is achieved Stephens could be a huge helping hand in their chances of pushung even further.
March's top scorer with five goals. The former Stratford Town and Kettering Town man has scored 10 first half goals this season, only bettered by Telford's Matt Stenson. i caught up with Stephens, to get his thoughts on a great individual and team season, as his side enter their final four games.
"I think I have had a decent season, and am happy with the output I have been able to give for the team. I have had a few injuries along the season, which has kept me out for more games than I would want to have been.
"The gaffer has brought the best out of me, and has been brilliant ever since I joined the club. It is great to play for him, and I just hope that we as a team can help him and ourselves get at least a play-off place to see where it takes us.
"I am not surprised how quick the club have taken to step 3 football to be honest. We had a slow ish start to the season. But as soon as we got a run going, we have flew up the table. We have a great squad here, both from an ability and morale perspective. We stick together and have a great time on and off the pitch.
"I have played this level before, so I knew I could come to Harborough and score goals. Hopefully more will come in the final four games to help push the team as far as possible. Not only would it mean a lot to me for promotion, but more importantly the club.
"It would be a fantastic first season at this level for the club to go straight up. To be honest, I am not surprised we are in this position. The club is amazing and ran so well from top to bottom.
"Both chairman's Greg and Pete are a massive part of that in the way they run the club. They are a pleasure to play for, and with Mitch in charge of the team, we have a great structure to the club.
"My message to the fans it to honestly just stay with us. We love it when they are at games in full support, banging on drums and singing. It makes a huge difference for us on the pitch to push for a good result. Let's see where our season can take us in these final four games."
